How to Use 'Follow Friday' Effectively on Twitter to Help Your Followers

Follow Friday is so popular that there is no way you can miss that on Twitter. A lot of people on Twitter do not know how to post one effectively. If you do it the right way, you can help your followers tremendously.

Before we get to that, lets talk about how to do it the wrong way. A lot of people tend to just list a whole bunch of people to follow. If you see a huge list of people you do not know or heard of, would you be curious to find out more about the people that are mentioned? I certainly would not be interested in following bunch of random people on Twitter who I have no idea who they are.

Follow Friday is spammed by almost everyone on Twitter on that one particular day. If yours do not look interesting, most of your followers will overlook it as nothing special. Yours need to stand out to really catch your followers' attention.

How to do it effectively to help your followers on Twitter:

What you can do to really help someone is to pick one person only. You want to write a reason why people should follow this person on Twitter. Here is an example, "#follow friday @username You all need to talk to this guy when it comes to motorcycles. He knows it all!"

People who are interested in motorcycles would most likely add him. This person would appreciate you a lot for making him or her special. They might return the favor later by telling their friends to follow you. Friday is the best day to help your followers out.
